Emilee + Jacob | A Brooks at Weatherford Spring Wedding

When Philip and I arrived at the Brooks at Weatherford for Emilee + Jacob’s wedding, everything was in full swing! Emilee was surrounded by a large and lively bridal party getting hair and makeup done. The guys were hanging just the same and having a great time and the reception space was on it’s way to being transformed into a sea of blues.

Emilee decided to do a first look not only with her dad but with her bridesmaids as well. So The girls stepped out while her sister and mother helped her transform into the beautiful bride she is. Once everything was finally in place and Emilee saw herself fully as a bride, the atmosphere shifted. She was getting married!

Emilee also shared a first look with her dad, and it was one of the most emotional moments of the day. As soon as he saw her, he became so overwhelmed with emotion that he had to briefly step out of the room to gather himself. It was incredibly sweet and such a beautiful reflection of how much he loves his daughter. She also shared a first look with her bridesmaids, and their reactions were absolutely priceless. There is just something so special about seeing your closest friends see you as a bride for the very first time, and the excitement was contagious.

One of the unique things about The Brooks at Weatherford is the beautiful chapel space. The little walk from the reception area to the ceremony site is beautiful one, which almost adds to the anticipation leading up to the ceremony. The chapel itself is stunning, an outdoor structure with open sides that allows the breeze and fresh air to move freely throughout the space. Combined with the gorgeous weather that day, it created the dreamiest atmosphere for Emilee and Jacob to exchange their vows.

As guests gathered and the ceremony began, you could feel just how excited everyone was for these two. The soft wind, the open-air chapel, and the golden spring light made everything feel incredibly romantic and relaxed. Emilee and Jacob are simply so cute together, and throughout the entire day you could see how naturally they brought joy and comfort to one another.

After the ceremony, guests celebrated together back at the reception space where the evening continued with dinner, dancing, and so much joy surrounding the newlyweds. One especially fun moment during the reception was everyone joining together for the Aggie War Hymn, which brought so much energy and excitement to the night.

Emilee and Jacob also wanted their guests to be able to relive the day right alongside them, so we created a special QR code for guests to access and view the couple’s full gallery once all of the images are completed. It was such a thoughtful and fun way to share their memories with everyone who celebrated with them.

Later in the evening, they gathered all the single ladies to toss the bouquet. You will never guess who caught it. Emilee’s sister! It made for such a fun and exciting moment during the reception. She was so excited that she ran over to share the excitement with her boyfriend. It was pretty great!

After the reception ended, the couple shared a private dance together with just the two of them in the room. Those quiet moments at the end of a wedding day always feel so meaningful. A chance to pause, breathe, and soak in the reality that the day they had been waiting for had finally arrived.

To end the night, guests lined up outside with sparklers for the couple’s exit. Emilee and Jacob were so excited that they practically ran through the tunnel of sparklers to get to their getaway car, laughing the entire way. It was the perfect joyful ending to such an unforgettable wedding day.

Emilee and Jacob, thank you for allowing us to be part of such an incredible day. Your wedding was beautiful in every way, and we are so grateful we got to capture these memories for you both.

Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. ❤️
