AMANDA + AUSTIN | Sky Ranch Arizona Wedding

Where do I start??? Seeing all the joy and happiness in Amanda + Austin’s faces on their wedding day says it all! But lets go back in time for a bit!

When Amanda + Austin asked us to be a part of their wedding day in Sedona Arizona, we were over the moon! Not only are Amanda + Austin perfect for each other but they are one of the sweetest, kindest people you will ever meet! We feel so honored to be a part of something so special to them!

Philip and I decided to fly to Arizona a few days early so we could first and foremost, get our bearings for AZ. But not only that, we planned to spend Saturday, the day before their wedding, celebrating our 11 year anniversary! We drove all over, had a fantastic lunch and even spent some time just sitting and taking in these amazing views!! We also decided to head over to the venue to get a sneak peek of what to expect. In the process of this, we see Amanda come out of her room (which is right next to the wedding/reception area) to greet family. I told her I promised we weren’t stalking her! Haha! It was so great to get to talk with her the day before the wedding!

The day was finally here and it was one to remember! Amanda + Austin’s first look was at Summit Trail off of Airport Mesa and these views are….. crazy amazing! The sun was shinning on the mountains and creating vibrant colors everywhere! They also hiked up a bit and read their vows to one another privately. We did get to see them though and watch the rain clouds in the far off distance. Stunning!

When we arrived back to Sky Ranch Lodge for the ceremony, we could see in the distance, the clouds making their way over the mountains. It was raining so much that it was whiting out the left side of the view. By the time of their first kiss, the whole sky was white with rain! The crazy part is, is that you couldn’t really hear it.

The ceremony was perfect! They even broke bread together! I love that! After they kissed and walked down the aisle, it was only a couple of minutes before the rain hit in full force! It was only 10 minutes before the rain cleared and the sun was shinning again!

With all of the craziness of Covid, their grandmothers were unable to attend. Amanda + Austin took some private time to facetime with each of them so they could share this day with them. So So So sweet!

Amanda, Austin and their friends and family know how to celebrate! I may have taken a thousand dancing photos! Love how much fun everyone was having!

What a wonderful adventure it was to be a part of Amanda + Austin’s wedding day! We are so thankful and overjoyed for the two of them! Congrats to Amanda + Austin!
