The Fort Worth Stockyards are always a favorite and it was such a great day getting to spend time with Colleen + Corey last Sunday afternoon. There was a chance of rain so we decided to move our session time up just in case. I’m so glad we did because it gave us a little extra time to walk around. They drove over from Plano and I think it was worth the trip.
It felt like we had been friends for years and not like it was the first time we were meeting in person. Colleen shared with me a picture of her dress and man is it gorgeous! You can’t see the dress yet, but the boots she’s wearing in the second outfit is actually her wedding boots. Their reception will be at the Stockyard Station and I am so excited about that. It fits them so well.
Thier Irishdoodle, Walter, has so much personality. He was a little timid at first but then was ready for his close up. My absolute favorite is when his tongue is hanging out the side of his mouth. Corey did such a great job in having Walter sit and be still for pictures. He said that is his only trick is to sit. Ha! I love how much they love Walter.
We had a blast hanging out with you Colleen + Corey. So so happy we were chosen shoot your engagement and wedding story. See you in September!
