One week ago today, Philip and I were preparing to meet this sweet couple for their wedding day! So much planning and preparation goes into each and every wedding. The day before, we start recharging all of the many many many (30ish) batteries. We have a very long list of our to do’s before a wedding to ensure we have everything we need. It’s not just a camera these days, we have cameras, backup camera’s, studio lights, back up studio lights, flashes, back up flashes, details board, detail extras, stool, cooler with water and this is just to name a few of the things. We love to be prepared!
We started the day at the Hyatt Regency where Emily + Joe were getting ready. The girls had 3 adjoining rooms were hair and makeup were just finishing up when I arrived. The girls looked amazing! Tease to Please did a wonderful job as always for this bridal party! The guys were a few floors down getting dressed where Philip met them. It wouldn’t be long before it was time for Joe to see his bride!
Emily + Joe’s first look was a short walk from the hotel. We wanted to be a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel so we headed over to Reunion Arena Park. As we walked up, you could see Joe with his back turned waiting patiently. This is always such a thrilling and anticipated moment. Only moments now before they would see each other. Joe’s face when he sees Emily says it all! These two are so in love and ready to be married to each other. I will never not love a first look.
It wasn’t long before the limo arrived to take the guys over to Howell and Dragon. The ceremony was just a few hours away! Once everyone arrived to Howell and Dragon, it was time for a daddy daughter first look. Isn’t her dad the sweetest?! What a great moment!
Wonderful words were said at their ceremony and they were sealed with a kiss. Then it was time to celebrate! A quick room flip and the room transformed into one of the coolest reception spaces! The decor for this reception was through the roof! So lovely!
The best receptions have the best dancing! I absolutely love dancing photos! I pretty much spend hours smiling and cracking up with all the guests dancing their heart out! (It’s hard for me not to join in!) Dancing is always some of the happiest moments of the day!
Philip and I are so over the moon for Emily + Joe! It was a perfect start to a wonderful marriage! Congrats guys!
