Lindsay + Nick drove all the way from Lubbock for our engagement shoot on Saturday. There was rain in the forecast so we moved our session up an hour and I’m so glad we did! On my drive to River Legacy Park in Arlington, it was pouring! I was hopeful and kept driving. I drove into the park and there was a line of cars to get out. It kinda made me laugh. Luckily, when I parked, it started to die down from a pour to a sprinkle. By the start of our session, the rain had completely stopped. It was a photography miracle! Of course, we carried an umbrella just in case.
It was completely overcast and a little chilly because of the cold front that came through. Lindsay + Nick are such troopers and didn’t let the little bit of rain get to them. It’s so amazing how everything just works out.
Lindsay + Nick are getting married in Fort Worth in June of this year. Most of Nick’s family lives in this area so having the wedding in central Texas was a perfect fit. They are such a joy to be around. Together these two have such a sweet and gentle nature with each other. I am so thankful that we get to work with such amazing people! I look forward to your wedding in June! Until then, enjoy some of my favorites.
