LINDSAY + NICK MARRIED

Lindsay hadn’t planned for a big wedding celebration but her mom, Jill,  helped her to see how amazing it could be.  Later that evening, Lindsay admitted how happy she was that they decided to do so.  The families did such a great job in celebrating the marriage of this sweet couple.

Some of the family being in Lubbock, made the trip down (or should I say across haha) a few days before the wedding to finalize all the details.  They were staying at the beautiful Coyote Creek Ranch in Cleburne and what an amazing place it is!  When I pulled up to the very large cabin styled ranch, there were two horses grazing underneath a tree.  I was so amazed!  One even walked over to me when I was walking up the drive.  There is something so peaceful about horses when you see them up close.

The family was in full swing of wedding preparations.  Lindsay’s Aunt, Arlene, was preparing the final decorations on the wedding cake, her sister Kayla was working on her speech, family members were chatting with each other and I’m sure discussing what a wonderful day this was going to be.

Once Lindsay + Nick were both ready, it was time for the reveal.  Her family headed to a closed off room and Lindsay waited just a moment at the top of the stairs before making her way down to Nick.  I absolutely love the first look.  It’s such a quiet and private moment between the bride and the groom.  You could feel the emotions in the air and I swear I got chill bumps.  Nick spun her around and it was the sweetest thing.

Linsday’s bouquet was absolutely gorgeous!  Peonies are one of my favorite flowers and the succulent has a special meaning to their relationship.  It is to symbolize one of their first dates where poor Nick fell onto one.  Ouch!  They were hiking in Palo Duro Canyon and he ended up falling onto a cactus.  Luckily, it was nothing too serious.  And it’s such a cute story the way Lindsay tells it.  I was placing their rings on the succulent when I noticed their names were engraved on her wedding band.  I seriously let out a long “Ahhhh, that’s so sweet!”

Once we were done with a portion of the family pictures, it was time to head to Fort Worth for the ceremony.  The entire patio of Esperanza’s on Main Street was transformed into a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception for Lindsay + Nick.  The tables were decorated with white mason jars filled with a beautiful arrangement of flowers.  The bunches of mini roses are one of my favs!  Now it was time for her to walk down the aisle.

The ceremony was beautiful and breezy while Lindsay + Nick said their vows and I’do’s.  Lindsay’s sister, Nick’s best friend from College, and her Uncle as the officiant joined them at the altar.  I know it means a lot when someone close to the bride and groom marries them.  Just makes it even more special.

Lindsay + Nick had their first dance immediately after their first kiss while their friends and family watched from their tables.  Nick twirled his now wife around while everyone looked on.  Shortly after, everyone joined in on the dance floor with the bride and groom.  You can tell that they are having a blast!

We snuck away for 20 minutes or so to have a quick portrait session with Lindsay + Nick after the newlywed question game.  I love love love this part!  They were on a serious cloud nine!  All the joy of the day was spilling from their smiles.  I just love it.

At the end of the night, it was time for the (in my opinion the world’s longest) limo to take them off into the sunset.  Literally!  🙂    They walked out in a shower of bubbles while receiving well wishes from their family and friends.  It was a perfect end to the night.  Couldn’t be happier for these two.
