What a happy Day! Marcela + Jonathan are not only in love but are married! We spent the day with them in Ennis Texas to celebrate their first day as husband and wife!
We met them at St. John’s Nepomucene Catholic Church just an hour and a half before they were to walk down the aisle. Jonathan was the first to arrive and was smiling ear to ear! There was no mistaking his excitement for this day! Absolutely heartwarming to see so much joy.
Marcela and her entourage arrived a little after Jonathan and was just about ready to get into her dress. Her hair and makeup was so beautifully done. After she was in her dress and ready, several friends and family gave her special gifts to signify the day. It was tough for everyone to hold back tears of joy!
The Church filled with so many loved ones to share their wedding mass. Then it was time for Marcela to walk toward her soon to be husband. The moment that Jonathan saw her, you could see the emotional sweet look he gave her. These two truly love each other and were ready to start their lives together as Mr and Mrs.
After the mass, we stepped outside the church doors for a few photos. It was a bit chilly (especially in the shade) but you totally can’t tell. Everyone was so happy to be standing next to Marcela + Jonathan! Soon enough it was time to head to the KJT Auditorium for their reception.
This reception was decorated with beautiful trimmings of maroon and lanterns! After Marcela + Jonathan were introduced, a Marachi band played for all of their guests. They filled the room with music while Marcela + Jonathan cut their beautiful cake from Sugar Bee Sweets. And a huge toast with all of the friends by their side was the perfect way to complete the cake cutting!
The night was filled with so many festivities! After the mararchi band, Jonathan and Marcela shared their first dance as well as a dance with Marcela and her mom and dad. And of course Jonathan and his mother shared a dance as well. Next was the Czech Grand March! So fun to see everyone get involved in it! Then a band played to get all the guests out on the dance floor. Dinner was provided by their families and so many special desserts were served to their guests. By the end of the night a DJ started playing the party music and it was time for their faux exit with their wedding party and close family members. Marcela + Jonathan went back in to party into the late night! We are just so happy for these two and feel so honored to be a part of such a great day. Here are a few of our favorites from their day!
