MARGARET + MITCH | A Downtown Dallas Howell + Dragon Wedding

Happy One Week Anniversary to Margaret + Mitch! Or should I say Mr. + Mrs. Baker! We started the fun filled day at a hotel just down the street from Howell and Dragon. Margaret is a girl after my own heart! She had all of her details together in a box waiting for me. It’s the little things that makes me happy. : )

After a few getting ready shots, we were off to the Howell and Dragon, at you guessed it, at the crossroads of Howell and Dragon in downtown Dallas. Once we arrived, we headed into the sweet little bridal suite which is behind the greenery wall. Such a cool space right?! Once everyone was settled in, it was time for Margaret to get into her wedding dress. It was just her and her mom so she could surprise her bridesmaids, brother, and father. Always a special moment when dad sees his daughter in her wedding dress. Then it was time for her to share her first look with Mitch!

The look on Mitch’s face of wow when he saw his bride to be was of pure perfection. After a few quick portraits, it was time to walk down the aisle. Margaret’s father walked her toward the love of her life and handed his daughter to her future husband. The ceremony included important passages from important people in their lives. What a great way to include others in your ceremony.

After a few wonderful words, exchanging of rings and things, it was time to get the party started! The reception started with a first dance then after, Margaret and Mitch made their way to each table to take a group shot with their guests. We are noticing more and more Bride + Groom’s doing this. Really starting to love it!

The reception was full of memory making events and SO much dancing always makes a fun celebration. Congratulations to Margaret + Mitch! We know it was a great way to start your marriage and there are so many more memories in your future. Here are just a few of our favorites of the day!
