What a wonderful crazy week this has been! I am SO happy that I can finally share this whimsical wedding with you!
I have known Roxanne for years! Honestly, I can’t even remember what year we met but we have had many talks and discussions and have even shed a tear or two. I am so so so thankful and HONORED that Philip and I were a part of such a wonderful day!
Roxanne + Chris’s original wedding day was supposed to be a week prior but had to be rescheduled and I will say that it was worth the wait! The weather was PERFECT and doesn’t Roxanne look stunning?! They are such a puzzle match for each other. It brings me so much joy to see these two together!
The ceremony was so whimsical! (There is no other word to describe it!) The trees flowing in the wind, leaves falling, and acoustics by the very talented Kyle Sherman! One of the great things about photographing a wedding is that you get the best seat in the house since we get to move up a get a bit closer! : ) Photographer PERK! Roxanne + Chris shared prayers, vows, a unity candle, and of course a kiss! You can see the joy all over their faces as they are coming down the aisle! So much JOY!
I am SO happy that we were able to spend 15 minutes with them after the ceremony for the PERFECT lighting for their sunset photos! A photographers dream! A huge THANK YOU to Roxanne + Chris for trusting me and letting us drive over to the tunnel of trees at The Grove! And to the wonderful owner of the venue for driving us there! Going above and beyond! And those images are jaw dropping!
The first dance always gets me! I know I am going on and on about how happy I am for them but I have no other words to explain it. I am not super great with words, that’s why I tell stories in pictures! : ) I do have to share with you that the table they are sitting at was made by Chris! I later found out that there was so much more meaning to this and the love and care it shows Roxanne for their future together. I love that!
I think I should count how many times I use the word happy but guys… I am so so so happy to share these with you! Give these two a big congratulations! Mr. & Mrs. Kirk!
