It’s been 10 years since I shot my first wedding. Each and every year, actually, each and every wedding, feels just as special as the last. I know how blessed I am to be able to save these moments for our couples. A wedding day holds so much more than just a party. It’s the joining together of two families and the beginning of a life long marriage full of love, friendship, and all the experiences that comes with it. And this wedding day was the start of Serene + Alex’s life together!
Serene + Alex celebrated the start of their marriage at Rustic Grace Estates in Van Alstyne Texas! They came all the way from Boston Massachusetts to be with friends and family to share this joyous experience! Some family even traveled from greater distances to celebrate with the happy couple!
So many times during this day, Philip and I had to hold back a tear. Seeing how much love this family has for one another makes what we do even that much more rewarding!
I loved that Alex walked down to the alter with his mother and father as well as Serene. And this is one of those times that I wish I was a videographer so I could share with you the vows that they said to each other during their ceremony. Everyone was holding back tears I’m sure! There is no doubt that these two were meant for each other and will take care of each other for the years to come.
What a wonderful day it turned out to be! Mostly shaded and so many moments to smile to. It was a day full of laughter, tears of joy, and love. What more could you ask for? Take a look and you’ll see exactly what I mean!
