I arrived a little early at the Stockyards so I could park and get prepared but my normal parking lot was blocked off for “staff only”. And the guard/attendant was ensuring that anyone not supposed to be in that parking lot, wasn’t. Crazy! Turned out that the filming for the Yellowstone Prequel, “1883” was underway! So cool! I had no idea that was going on. I’ve never seen Yellowstone but I heard it’s pretty good.
It always blows my mind how small our world is. Shelby and I were first introduced at her sister Mogan’s wedding where Philip and I were their photographers. So exciting when we get to see the whole family again! But then, at the start of our engagement session, Shelby asks me if I had pieced together that she actually went to school with my daughter! What?! That’s nuts! Of course the first thing I did when I got home was tell Alyssa and she went on about how nice Shelby is. And my daughter is right!
There is no doubt how happy Shelby + Zeb are together! Don’t these two make a great pair?! No need to tell these two to smile cause they have that down pact! : ) The cactus garden was the perfect backdrop for Shelby + Zeb. And it wasn’t even too hot! That is a win win!
After our session, we chatted a bit about their wedding day and got to browse the venue a bit (on the phone of course) and holy moly, you guys are in for a treat! It has some pretty spectacular views! You will have to wait until April to see! For now, here are a few of our favorites from Tuesday’s Session in Fort Worth!
