Where do you go for an engagement session if you are a big Texas Ranger Fan you ask?! Globe Life Park in Arlington! Christina and I got to hang out prior to our session and not only her but Butters too! This little guy is waaayyyy too cute! I was looking forward to meeting Salvador since he wasn’t able to hang out with us a few months ago. They were Ranger Tastic when they arrived. It totally slipped my mind that Butters was going to be joining us. My voice raised like 10 octaves and I said, “AHHHH Butters is here!” When Christina and I were discussing potential engagement session dates, I gave her a list of dates of when the Rangers were at an away game and her response was, oh we could have had the session then went to a game! This is the best statement ever! I heart the Rangers! 🙂
Globe Life Park is such a beautiful ballpark and I’m so glad we got to enjoy it’s awesomeness. Does it not make the greatest backdrop for Christina + Salvador?! After spending some time around the ballpark, we drove across the street to Richard Geene Linear Park for a change of scenery. These Texas sunsets are something else! It’s been a few years since I’ve done a session here and I forgot how much I love it! There were people feeding the ducks and folks walking their dogs. Butters was hilariously cute! He totally eyeballed one dog until he got close enough to release his fury in very scary (sarcasm) little doggy barks. : ) Don’t mess with Butters! Ha!
Christina + Salvador, Philip and I had a blast with you three! Can’t wait to see you again at the wedding!
TELL US AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOU BOTH!
Christina: Sal has never been on a plane or really outside of Texas, so I hope that being with me he will be able to travel and see new things! He is also a very helpful and sweet guy, he will literally pull over to the side of the road for someone if he sees someone that is in need of assistance!
Salvador: She is smart and driven
WHAT DO YOU MOST LOOK FORWARD TO ON THE WEDDING DAY?
Christina: Seeing Sal when I walk down the aisle. There’s bets on whether he will cry or not hahaha. But mostly enjoying the day with all our close family and friends.
Salvador: The food, beer and having my family and friends there.
DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS OR ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES HAVING ENGAGEMENT PICTURES DONE?
Book Cindy! Seriously, she made the whole ordeal fun and her husband was funny and helped a lot with Butters and with talking to Sal. But really, just enjoy the day, joke around and don’t stress out because it will all come out amazing. Cindy is magical!
