BRITTANY + JORDAN | Dallas Arboretum Engagement

Well… we were originally suppose to have our engagement session at the beginning of October but the threat of rain required us to reschedule. Brittany works in NICU and her time off is limited as well as Jordan’s schedule so we had to be very selective on which day was best to move our session to. Our rescheduled date was at the end of October and low and behold… RAIN again! So we had to reschedule again! So crazy! Now here we are in November and our session date calls for light rain. Brittany and I both were up for it and honestly excited for the light showers. I love an adventure!

Honestly, it ended up being perfect! The rain made everything just that much more beautiful. And Brittany loves pumpkins and we knew that it was something that we wanted to incorporate in their session. The Dallas Arboretum usually ends their pumpkin fest at the end of October but they decided to carry it through the first week of November! YES! And not only did we get to have the pumpkins but there were only a few visitors in the whole park! It was like it was just for us!

We got to walk around anywhere we wanted and don’t worry, our umbrellas were in tow! I should have taken a picture of how I would have my camera bag under a very large umbrella to protect it from the misty rain while shooting. Every time I went to change a lens, I would duck under the large umbrella. I felt like I was about to put on a magic show because I would pop up from behind it after I would change a lens! haha! Ok maybe you had to be there.

We had a blast together! Brittany + Jordan are such a sweet pair and are so much fun to be around! Take a look for yourself!
