FROM HOME | Life Lately

So here we are everyone. If someone would have asked you two months ago what your April would have looked like, no way would anyone have ever guessed that it would look like this. Ok well maybe a doomsday prepper but you know what I mean! Ha!

Since I mostly work from home, during the days I don’t feel much different since I am still pretty busy with planning, scheduling, marketing, website updates, and other organizational things. (And you can’t forget date changes, postponements, and cancellations) However my weekends are normally filled with weddings, shoots, and social events, have now all been postponed or cancelled. I am not alone in this which is the crazy part. EVERYONE has been affected by what is going on. So now all we can do is do our part by staying home if we can and simply remember all the good things that we have in our lives. There are still so many things to be thankful for!

So what does our life look like right now? Philip, who normally works out of the house, has set up an office in mine! We got him a desk and moved things around which turned out nice! We are going on week three now and I have to admit, I really like him working from home. I have a buddy to bounce ideas off of or throw something at… Although he normally throws stuff at me. He does have quite a few conference calls and talks WAY too loud when he’s on the phone. But these are things I already knew about him since we’ve been together for over 10 years. Ha! What do you do?

The pups are enjoying him being home too and we have been able to go on walks at lunch which is nice. Maddie (the black and white pup) has been jumping in his lap from time to time too. Fine, I guess I’ll share!

Things are crazy out there but I am thankful for all of the essentials who are doing what they can to help us have some normalcy and the ones saving lives and keeping us safe! I am thankful that Philip and I have each other and that we have our faith that although this was not God’s plan, He will use it for his good and glory! Everyone stay safe and we can’t wait until we can see you all again in person! For now, here is a few pictures of what life looks like (with no makeup!) lately!
