KENNA + THOR | A Margot Hill Wedding

For it being our first time at Margot Hill in Malakoff, Philip and I felt right at home! The care and kindness that the owners put into their property and their couples is outstanding! And with how amazing and sweet Kenna + Thor are, makes me feel so honored to be a part of something so special!

When Philip and I arrived, we walked into the reception room and man… it was decorated so beautifully it actually made me giddy! Kenna was just finishing up hair and make up then it was time to get dressed! She was SO ready to see her guy! Thor was waiting for her at the end of the aisle.

We allotted lots of time for their first look since they were going to share vows and some time alone together. When Kenna and I first spoke about the first look, this was so important to them. They wanted their first moments to see each other to be just for them. I LOVE THAT! Philip and I hung back a bit so they could have their private moment (after a few photos of course) so we couldn’t hear what they were saying to each other but it made me smile to see tears being wiped from their eyes. Sweet and genuine moments like these are what these days are all about!

Have I ever mentioned that outdoor ceremony’s are a fav of mine? Especially when the sun and clouds are out. You have to see these blue skies! And you wouldn’t believe how warm it was. Texas… you so crazy! Kenna + Thor couldn’t have picked a better day!

After the ceremony, Abby, the wonderful owner of Margot Hill, drove us to a beautiful spot on their property! The sun was just about set by the time we were through with portraits. Perfect timing!! You have got to see these!

Kenna + Thor are so blessed to have so many people who love and care about them! So many laughs and smiles and lots of selfies and group photos make for an amazing night! Mini pies were had and this couple rode away to their wedding suite after one of the largest sparkler exits ever! Hugs and happiness to Kenna + Thor! You are finally married!
