DOMINIQUE + DANE | Hidden Waters Waxahachie Engagement

DOMINIQUE + DANE ARE ONE OF THE SWEETEST COUPLES EVER!

When people guess what the best part about running my wedding photography business is, they often think it must be because I get to create my own hours and work from home.  But I have to say that while all of that IS amazing, my favorite thing about my job is getting to meet genuinely amazing people!  Every time I get in the car after an engagement session, I can’t stop smiling!  I am thinking about the laughs we shared, the love that they have, and how awesome it is that I was able to bottle a little of it up for them to look back on.  There really isn’t anything better than this!

Dominique, Dane and I had the chance to chat a little bit before our session started.  Dane is in the army and is back home for a short time before he has to head back out.  Dominique is finishing up school at SFA and is planning a wedding all at the same time!  These two are superstars!  I was so so so happy that we were able to get all of our schedules together to make this engagement session happen!

You have to love the spring in Texas!  When I was leaving Mansfield to head to Hidden Waters Wedding and Events Venue in Waxahachie, it started to sprinkle.  Luckily, by the time we got there, it was all clouds and no rain!  Yay!

I can not get over how fast our session went!  We were just having so much fun!  Oh and I can’t end my blog post without telling you that while I was photographing the ring, a VERY large wasp decided to hang out on my arm.  As soon as I noticed it, I jumped about 10 feet in the air, (ok maybe it was like 1 but still!) screamed VERY loud, and ran from the very startled wasp on the ground!  Good thing I didn’t drop the ring!  #priorities  #professional  Haha!

Guys, take your time and enjoy each little moment of this session.  It will be worth it!
